Kelly's educational journey took her through several locations and institutions. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia and later moved to Atlanta, where she attended high school at Pace Academy. After completing her high school education, she decided to pursue her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas/Austin.

Following her time at the University of Texas, Kelly obtained her undergraduate degree from Washington University. After completing her undergraduate studies at Washington University, Kelly went on to obtain her law degree at St. Louis University.

After completing her education, Kelly joined a boutique family law firm in Atlanta. Her dedication, attention to detail, and innovative approaches to her cases and clients led to her being named a partner at the firm. In 2022 she established her own practice Kelly K. Schiffer Family Law.

Throughout her 20+ year career, Kelly has been committed to helping her clients navigate difficult situations with minimal pain and practicality. She prioritizes working towards her clients' goals while considering the best interests of the entire family. Kelly is known for her responsiveness, strong communication skills, and settlement-oriented approach to each case.

While Kelly handles various aspects of family law as a sole practitioner, her role at Flink ADR is focused specifically on alternative dispute resolution services, aiming to help parties reach mutually beneficial resolutions outside of traditional court processes.

Kelly lives in Sandy Springs with her husband, Peter, and their puppy Georgie. They have three grown children. She enjoys hiking, traveling, movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
